Planner

WX2 Advertising & PR helps promote companies, brands and products with the help of social media, the Internet, PR, events, video, advertising, brand activation, printing, websites, mobile apps, marketing and packaging. 

We are highly experienced in brand strategy, design and development.

The company was founded in 2020, in Malta's most prestigious business address, Ta' Xbiex. 

At the moment, we are seeking an advertising planner intern for our Client Services Department.

 

Your main mission will be research, focus groups, qualitative research, quantitative research; planning, defining and implementing the creative brief together with the Creative Director for new ad campaigns, to provide projects with strategic direction.

 

We don’t expect you to come with detailed knowledge of advertising & PR, but you must have the enthusiasm to learn and possess a demonstrable background of study in communications and communications research. A previous internship as a 'Planner' at an advertising agency or PR firm would be an advantage. You will report to the Country Manager.

Job Description:

 

  1. Collecting data on consumers, competitors and the market place     

  2. Consolidating information into actionable items, reports and presentations

  3. Understanding business objectives and designing instruments to discover consumer and/or market preferences

  4. Meeting with clients and leading detailed discussions to understand their objectives 

  5. Keeping your finger on the pulse of social trends at all times and developing an insightful understanding of how to grab people’s attention

  6. Write a detailed campaign brief to help the creative team understand the optimal angle from which to go about creating innovative ideas and contribute to the discussion around the final creative work to be presented to the client

  7. Other tasks arranged by Senior Management.    


Requirements:

 

  • Bachelor degree or above excellent grade 3 students are also welcomed

  • English-speaker 

  • The ability to cope under pressure

  • Effective analytical abilities

  • Candidates should have very strong communication skills, and must be a team player.

Duration of the internship:

Minimum 6 months (12 month preferred)


Erasmus or self-funded


Working Times:

Monday to Friday, 08:30 to 17:30
