Business Development Executive


WX2 Advertising & PR are looking for an ambitious and energetic Business Development Executive to help us expand, grow operationally, as well as geographically.

In this exciting new role, you will be the front of WX2 Advertising & PR and will have the dedication to create and apply an effective sales strategy. The goal is to drive sustainable financial growth through boosting sales and forging strong relationships with clients, multipliers and collaborators.

Experience of building strong working relationships with key decision-makers is paramount to succeed in this role, along with the confidence to provide sound information and advice, identify the needs of the customer and provide the right solution. The ability to cross-sell, negotiate and close a deal will be the key to your success.


The successful candidate will be required to:

Establish new opportunities with a range of new clients
Focus on strengthening existing relationships to generate higher revenue
Drive the proposition that WX2 delivers advertising & PR that drives results, and,
Apply the necessary business acumen when evaluating and proposing new business opportunities.


In addition, the selected candidate will be expected to be:

Energetic - providing the necessary motivation and positivity to team members
Forward-thinking
Aligned to WX2’s values and standards.


Responsibilities:


Develop a sustainable strategy focused on financial growth targets
Maximise revenue by cross and up-selling
Identify new markets and customer needs
Front the introduction of new products in the digital space
Organise events to showcase that WX2 delivers advertising & PR that drives results, to win new clients
Arrange business meetings with prospective clients and close their business
Keep records of sales, revenue, invoices etc.
Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support
Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers
Develop new team members into valuable salespeople.


Requirements:


Develop an in-depth understanding of WX2's solutions and strategies
Proven working experience as a business development manager, sales executive or a relevant role
Proven sales track record
Experience in customer support is a plus
Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software (e.g. Salesforce)
Proficiency in English
Market knowledge
Communication and negotiation skills
Ability to build rapport
Time management and planning skills
Preferably, a BSc/BA in business administration, sales or relevant field.
